Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4-6 people

  • 1 box of your choice of pasta (I like to use Thick Spaghetti or Fettucine)
  • 1 jar of pasta sauce (for this recipe, I used RAO’s Homemade Vodka Sauce)
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 10 pcs of scallops (about ½ lb)
  • 1/2 lb of shrimp
  • ½ lb of Little Neck Clams/Manila Clams
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley
  • 5 white or brown mushrooms
  • ½ of an onion
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 shot of Sake (Vodka works too) – optional

For the pasta:

  • Heat up enough water for your pasta, I’d guess about 3-4 cups full.
  • Bring to a boil & add your pasta
  • Add 1 teaspoon of salt & oil (any oil is ok– this is to make sure your pasta doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot)
  • Cook according to the instructions in the back of your pasta box
  • Remove by straining your pasta w/ a colander
  • Rinse pasta w/ COLD water to ensure it from overcooking

  • Clean your seafood in some water + cornstarch and set it sit on the side
  • Clean then slice your mushrooms
  • Slice your onions into long slices
  • Heat up a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter, add some chili flakes, salt & pepper
  • Rinse off cornstarch from seafood
  • Cook the scallops for 2 minutes on each side. Remove & put aside on a small plate
  • Heat up a pot w/ at least 5 inch sides w/ 3 tablespoons of butter
  • Add in onions, mushrooms, shrimps & clams
  • Stir for about 2-3 minutes
  • Add in ful; jar of vodka sauce
  • Add in sugar, salt, pepper, parsley, onion powder, paprika, and chili flakes
  • Mix well & add in the shot of Sake (or vodka) and stir for 1 minute
  • Turn off heat & you’re done!
